Journey4 Corporate Information

Journey4 Productions LLC, based in Irvine, California was founded in 2003 to create life-style programming focusing on interior design, decorating and architecture.  Christmas Decorating: The Art of Holiday Design is Journey4”s first release. 

The force behind Journey4 Productions is Luba Dmytryk, a veteran of the film and television industry.  “I got my start in the business with a bit part in the infamous Heaven’s Gate,” explains Luba Dmytryk.  “I loved the dynamics and energy of that production set in Montana.  It was then, that I got ‘bit by the bug’.  Unfortunately, my silver screen debut happened to be in the movie that is rumored to have bankrupted a major Hollywood studio.  Was this a warning?  If it was, I chose to ignore it!”

Luba Dmytryk moved from New York to Los Angeles to launch a successful career as a production coordinator and production manager.  Her credits include:  Beetlejuice with Michael Keaton and Alec Baldwin (Geffen Productions); Guilty Until Proven Innocent with Martin Sheen and Brendan Fraser (NBC); Firebirds with Nicholas Cage and Tommy Lee Jones (Kopelson Productions): F/X 2 with Bryan Brown (Paramount); The Naked Gun with Leslie Nielsen (Paramount); Sibling Rivalry with Scott Bakula and Kirstie Alley; Chips, The War Dog with John Paxton (Disney Cable Network) and many more.  She’s the producer of the documentary feature Ukraine: Third Journey to Independence,

Christmas Decorating: The Art of Holiday Design is a creative synthesis of producer Luba Dmytryk’s production background and a passion for art and design.  The next project, still in the planning phase, is “The Art of Building Green” – how to achieve fine design in residential architecture using sustainable resources.
